Providing educational aid
to homeless children on the streets of rural communities in Nigeria.
The Potter’s Children Global Foundation (PCG), is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation which caters for underprivileged children (education, food, health-care, etc). PCG was founded and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2017. It all began when two individuals (co-founders) recognised the need to cater for underprivileged children living in the rural communities of Nigeria. This stemmed from the many children they saw hawking on the streets during school hours, the brilliant kids who were dropping out of schools, the cries of indigent parents who could not clear the medical bills of their ailing children, the wails of hungry and homeless children in the rural villages of Gwagwalada, Abuja.

PCG provides free yearly and termly academic scholarships and other educational aids to indigent schooling children. We also enrol out-of-school children such as drop-outs, hawkers, other children engaged in child labour during school hours.
We provide reliefs and palliatives to hospitalised children and their guardians. These include offsetting medical bills of the patients, distribution of toiletries, beverages, snacks, giving words of encouragement, prayers, etc.
We have had several other projects such as food drives, e.g. PCG Feed A Child project (a food drive for almajiris who live on the streets), etc.
At several intervals, PCG provides relief materials in form of food, clothing and money to indigent families and children from donations made, and in response to genuine appeals for succour. For example, the 2020 PCG Covid-19 Relief Initiative (through which we gifted palliatives two indigent families in the heat of the pandemic), etc.
Spare some of your time to join PCG’s next event to make a difference in the lives of indigent children in our communities.
There are millions of vulnerable children in the rural needing your donation to give their lives a meaning. Your donation will make a difference in the life of someone.
